caring for your introvert.

A very good article.

I remember reading it a couple of years back, then I lost the link, and then a friend linked to it via her LJ not long ago, so here it is again. It really should be on the List of Recommended Reading for People Who Are Not Introverts.

… And that list really should exist, now that I think of it.

It’s +3 in Irkutsk, +5 in Murmansk — and a -5 in Kishinev?

Seriously.

Here’s the plan, mortals. First, consult a map and figure out why I’m so bloody amused. Second, turn off a lamp or two. Third, skip on a chili con carne in favour of a chili sin carne. A veggie stew, if you must.

That’d be enough for today. Baby steps, they say.

Be sure to keep it up, though.

I’m watching an interview with Ted Turner.

I’m surprised.

Pleasantly.

This is the first time I’ve completely forgotten about NaNoWriMo since … 2001. I think. Definitely 2002. Damn.

Damn.

I never manage to write 50k in a month, btw. I think the closest I’ve come to completing was about 30… Including background work and research. About 17k of actual storyline.

I’m all nostalgic now. It’s a good thing all my horrid writing is on my poor still broken still in repair shop laptop. Otherwise I’d be tempted to do awful things like maybe reviving those plots.

Okay, I’m off to weep in this wave of nostalgia a little.
