I’ve consumed considerably less dairy & eggs during the last couple of months (especially December).  I think I’ll do something even more drastic with it in 2010.  Between Orthodox fasts and my own measures, I’m hoping to become a borderline vegan by the end of this year.

Oh, and 1010 is a brilliant thing.  I haven’t signed up as I’m not in UK (yet? can it be? pretty please? this post isn’t about my relocation aspirations though), but I’ll stick with the challenge unofficially, so to say.  I mean, come on.  It’s easy.  Switch the lights off as you leave the room, fix your leaking taps, put on another layer instead of cranking the temps up, and BY GOD, have a meatless Friday, or something.  Or a Fish Thursday, at least, as they did in USSR:
